When I’ve asked individuals what they want out of their therapy they often reply with, ‘I want to be happy’.  What makes one person happy can make another miserable. People really benefit from taking a step back and looking at what they think will make them happy and determining if it really will or will not in the long run. Assessing if you’re being true to yourself can be hard and sometimes it is about accepting what you really want, like or believe and then living it.

What you think impacts what your response is going to be.

This process happens in a matter of seconds. With an understanding of what is going on and how certain changes can be made with an observance of it occurring in the moment you can actively make this change. Be aware that this is going to be a lot of trial & error but when the rhythm of awareness, change and practice results occur you will notice the impact.
